Craig Wilcox, Incumbent Candidate for State Senate in the 32nd District has released a statement calling for the repeal of the SAFE-T ACT:
“With implementation less than four months away, state’s attorneys from across Illinois continue to sound the alarm over dangerous components of the SAFE-T Act. This law is poorly written and protects accused criminals at the expense of public safety in our communities. We must repeal the SAFE-T Act, bring all stakeholders to the table, and write criminal justice reform that addresses bail issues while protecting public safety and victims of crime.”
